Week Beginning 20th April 2020

Welcome back everyone to our virtual world, literally...
We hope you had a happy holiday and precious family time together.
It is really positive to see so many of you on board! Just remember that it is normal to have ups and downs during the week and if things are not working out for whatever reason there is nothing wrong with taking a break form a task and come back online at a better time. You are all being very committed and supportive so thank you very much for that.
Take a look at our first week back

A lovely story map of the story of Gigantic Turnip.

Growing tops...will they or will they not?

The twins have been very busy planting their vegetable gardens at home while also enjoying our story.  They have made lists of what has been planted as well as telling the story while Mummy painted some of the characters - amazing!

Orla and Jake have both been busy with the story map activity and sent lovely pictures to see, well done.

Lyla-Mae has been busy inside at the laptop and outside doing various different jobs.

Jessica has been busy with some lovely Art work, based around our story.

Hello Pandora, enjoying the sunshine.

Eliza has been busy doing her school jobs and outside in the garden doing some Ty-dye, wow!

What a colourful top?

And Sophie, or shall we say Mary Poppins...

Practically perfect in every way, as the lady would say herself.

Finally, the long awaiting answers to our Maths quiz explained...
How many Cows were there?  1
How many Hens were there?  4
How many Pigs were there?  2
How many Geese were there? 5
Which animals were black? Cats

Remember next week we start with the children's choice of topic, I wonder who will be first?

Well done every body and THANK YOU for all of your wonderful efforts to keep our Class 1 community going while we cannot actually be together.
Have a wonderful weekend
From Miss Welby and Mrs Storer
