Week Beginning 18th October 21

It is fair to say we are all ready for a well deserved break!!

Well done everyone for all the hard work this term.

Please have a peek at our last week of work....

We enjoyed some spooky sorting and counting at the Maths table.

Our Autumn area has been investigated

We are building on our writing skills, using our sounds to write simple three letter words.

How many ways can you make number three using your fingers?

Which one is the easiest way?

More fabulous writing in Phonics, some of us are becoming so confident with this now, well done.

Lots of shape related independent problem solving too this week, including making pictures with 2D shapes and building models with 3D solids.

We have included a couple of extra books in children's bags for half term so that they can continue their reading.
Also in your child's bag, if you have not completed it, (thank you if you have) is the school health form. Please return this to school as soon as possible after the half term.

As the weather gets colder, please help your child over the break to practice doing up their coat. Of course we are here to help in class but, we encourage the children to do these jobs as soon as possible by themselves.

All that remains to say is HAVE A WONDERFUL HALF TERM EVERYONE.

We will see you back in school on the TUESDAY as the Monday is a PD Day.
