Week beginning 17.10.16

This week we have read different versions of the story 'The Little Red Hen' and discussed how being unkind can affect others as well as ourselves.
Children agreed that being kind to others is much nicer and it makes us feel good.

We then talked about harvest and sung our favourite song 'Big Red Combine harvester'.
We can now explain how wheat is turned into bread.

Look at the wonderful Autumn sensory tray we have in our classroom. Children have been making little books where they recorded all those important facts they know about harvest and Autumn.
Some of us used the interactive board to draw pictures of the little red hen.
Outdoor we decided we could really do with a big comfy chair, so we built one with big plastic bricks

I can fit in this chair, look.
