and Gruffalo's heads are slowly appearing around us...
His eyes are orange, his tongue is black....he has purple prickles all over his back!
Here are the boys at work...
'Owl ice-cream! I'm off little mouse....!'
'Come and have lunch with me in my underground house'
'Hello little mousssssssssssssssssssse. Come for a feasssssssst in my log pile house'.
'What's a Gruffalo??? asked owl.
We have had lots of time for independent activities going on too...
Fishing from the tower outside.
Building models with both 2D and 3D shapes.
We have been given lots of lovely new books and have been spending time enjoying them.
During our phonics sessions we have been very busy using and applying our new sounds this week. We had to listen to the word and find out which box we should write it in.
We concluded our week with a little preparation for the forthcoming Wenhaston Garden Show. The children looked at some pictures of some wedding flowers and created their own wonderful pictures using watercolour pencils.
WOW!
We will remind you nearer the time when the show is so that you can see the children's work in the village hall if you wish. Posters are up around the village.
Congratulations to Thomas our Golden Book winner today for last weeks Asset award.
Enjoy the sunshine everybody.
