Week beginning 6.2.17

Our winter and Arctic knowledge is forever growing...we would be able to fill you in with many facts about a variety of arctic animals, winter sports and much more.
This week we have read the book 'Tiger in the Snow!' by Nick Butterworth and acted out Tiger's adventure on the sledge found in the snow. Lots of new words have been shared alongside a pretend journey down the imaginary slope. Take a look...

Whizzing, slipping, sliding, gliding, bumping and jumping...

FLUMP! We landed. That was fun!

Family and friends have joined us for a share on Wednesday and created beautiful arctic landscapes.

 Thank you all for coming!

Lots of fun and hard work in PE. We followed instructions carefully and managed to move from a starting position (knees bent and arms to the front) into a forward roll and get back on our feet all in one motion.

A busy end to the week and a day out for our Pyramid Day...
Thank you to Holton for hosting this wonderful day of exciting Science activities and Internet Safety.
We enjoyed painting with frozen paint cubes.

Building bridges.

Making enormous bubbles and much  more.
Look how many of played together at lunchtime!

As always the children behaved brilliantly and were a pleasure to take out for the day.

Well done everyone, enjoy a well earned rest over the half term.
