Week beginning 30.10.2017

Welcome back to the second half of Autumn Term. We hope you all had a resting and happy family time together.
The children had great fun and enjoyed painting pumpkins and firework pictures.

We have also made some edible mini sparklers using bread sticks, chocolate spread and hundreds thousands....

And dah dah....!

Autumn is well and truly here and leaves are EVERYWHERE!

Let's sweep up all these leaves! Great job.

With the help of Fireman Sam we have been learning how to stay safe this weekend if we are going out anywhere to watch the fireworks.  We thought we should put this theory into practise and try toasting some marshmallows.  Delicious.

We have had some great teamwork this week which has led to some fantastic creations, this started as a single piece of paper and grew and grew, finishing as a complete street map with its own train track.  What's more, the children are enjoying it so much that they have requested that it stays for after the weekend.

Encouraging our speaking and listening skills with a puppet show or two.

Congratulations to Lucas our Golden Book winner today for being so keen with your reading and independent writing.

Have a fantastic weekend everybody and remember all those safety tips if you are going out to watch the fireworks.
