Children have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes this week. They used 3D shapes as printing tools to create a picture of a spider.
'I can know this one!'
'Can you read it with me so if I get stuck you can help me?'
Outdoor children build their very own tuffet...
'Now we can eat our curd...'
In yoga we enjoyed a Star Wars episode and tried new poses.
In Phonics we worked very hard and wrote new sounds as well as words with the new sounds in. Our letter formation is getting a lot better.
Wednesday morning, we couldn't wait to get out and enjoy the snow.
We thought about where to throw snow balls without hurting anyone, we decided that the tyre would be a good target.
Some of us braved the scooters in the snow, popping in every so often to warm up our hands.
''Look I am going to make a tiny snowman, all I need now is a little ball for its head.''
PE with Mr Sanders and we had another session on the apparatus, we were learning how to stay sfae and how to get on and off sensibly.
We have had a challenge in class this week, to learn a new version of Little Miss Muffet.
Many of the children have remembered it well...
Little Miss Tucket
Sat on a bucket
Eating her peaches and cream
Along came a spider
Who sat down beside her
And she said 'GO AWAY OR I'LL SCREAM!'
Why don't you quiz them and see if they can remember it over the weekend?
Have a lovely weekend.
