This week in Class 1 we have enjoyed reading another space-based story: "Whatever Next!".
Children had the opportunity to discuss their favourite part of the story and talked about what they would take with them if they went to the moon. They have also created some lovely work to add to our ever growing walls displays. 





Yoga has kept us calm and focussed and is slowly enabling children to grow their spatial awareness and
 
 
 
We have been very creative and made name rockets for our space display.

We have spent lots of time continuing to develop our number skills this week, carefully counting and collecting different numbers of objects.  This has given us plenty of opportunity to take our counting skills outside as well as using them in class.


 
 
We have also had many visitors to our bug hotel which has kept many of us busy while outside enjoying the sunshine.
 
 
 
Congratulations to Lilly Napthine our Golden Book winner today, for being so enthusiastic in class.
