Welcome to all of our Reception children and parents/carers. It has been a great first week for our children in Class1! All of them have done really well learning about the different areas of their classroom and making new friends throughout the school.
This week we have started to learn our first sounds and here are a few pictures of some of our work...

We have also spent time outside learning how to use our outdoor classroom; enjoying the sunshine and using the space as much as possible.Inside we continue to 'check out' all of the different areas, here we are as busy workmen making sure everything is in good repair.
We also welcomed parents into our classroom this week for our first Share session. It was lovely to see so many of you and the children were so very grown up about saying goodbye and letting Mum's and Dad's go when the session had finished too.
The children had their first experience of Golden Book this afternoon...
Well done to everyone, the certificate was for you all for settling so well into your new classroom.
