This week we have read the book Man on the Moon by Simon Bartram.
Bob, the man on the moon goes to work in his rocket so we thought about making some healthy rockets using fruit.
Children enjoyed threading fruits bits through skewers and eating their tasting rockets.

One of the children in Class 1set a challenge for her friends: Can you make a fairy with play dough and helicopter wings?
All the children responded to the challenge and created some lovely fairies.

Threading beads to make bracelets for someone special. Very pretty jewellery. |

In Maths we have learnt about time so what better way to do so by playing 'What's the time Mr Wolf?
Children are doing really well with their sounds and are now beginning to use their sounds knowledge to form simple words. |
It was my birthday this week so children have baked some delicious looking cakes and made lovely birthday cards for me. Thank you very much :)
Autumn is well and truly here now and this shows in our outdoor area. The children have all been a great help today with brooms, gloves and spades helping to sweep and clear leaves and things to put in our bin.

We are really enjoying our PE with Mr Knights, every session we not only build on our Physical Development but are learning lots about sharing, using space and much more.

Can the cat catch the mouse? Quick grab his tail.
Please can all children bring in joggers and a warm jumper for PE, if they don't already have them, as the weather is turning colder.
We were so proud of all of our Reception children and how well they performed to a large audience during our harvest festival this morning.
Well done for speaking clearly and singing so beautifully.
Thank you to all of the parents and family members that joined us and donated so generously.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. |
