What a creative week we have had in Class1.
Have a look at what we have been up to:
'Aliens Love Underpants' has inspired many of the children who created some lovely pictures of some rather strange looking aliens....
Some of the aliens in our classroom had no home to go to so we have built them a rather nice house.
Some of us felt the need to sit in a corner of the outdoor area to practise some of the relaxing techniques we have learnt in yoga.
'Let's close our eyes and say Namaste'...
|
Making cards to our pets can cheer us up when we miss them. |
In Maths this week we have started to use the language involved in adding and taking away.
Learning sounds can be fun playing a phonic game on the interactive board. |
Lots of mark making happened on the outdoor writing table . |
''A man and his dog'' |
''My castle for the prince and his princess'' |
We were so pleased to have Mrs Webb back in class with us to. She was very impressed with how well we have been getting on with our reading while she has been away. Please keep practising at home and remember to get a grown up to write in your journal, we love to hear how you are getting on at home too.
Congratulations to Mary, our Golden book winner this week, for trying so hard with your writing and reading in class.
Have a lovely weekend everyone and THANKYOU to all of those who donated cakes on Friday for our MacMillan coffee afternoon.
